Hello everyone,

Ok, so I have worked all day on this Vise Adaptation:

I have completed the End Block-Stop Adaptation on Vise, it came out great!
However, I still have an issue...the 6 inches Hole Saw I had previously ordered is too 'deep' (too high)...meaning it will still NOT fit at the height the vise is sitting now.
The saw fits, however, the drilling bit will NOT.
So, I ordered a 'flatter' 6 inches hole saw, less deep/less higher (only 1.49 in height):

I believe this would be the end of this setting up to start cutting Polycarbonate Plates...

This New Hole Saw will arrive in about a week, maybe a little longer...

In the meantime I will keep working on Copper Rings, finish cutting Commutator Separation & cutting all tabs PLUS start on Continuous Slip Rings rectifying-cutting on Lathe Machine.

I still have to MARK ALL Polycarbonate Plates...set their exact center, set ALL Eight Supporting/ Structural Holes...(I will show a CAD on this markings on followingr post...)

6 X 6 Inches PLATE MARKINGS

Ok, so, considering our plates are 'perfectly'set at exactly 6 Inches by 6 Inches...this is the lines-angles we are looking at marking:

• First we define the 'square' (90º Angles) by selecting 3 inches on each side (Horizontal and Vertical)
• We trace our Diagonal Lines from each corner of Plates.
• These Four Lines (Two Diagonal / Two Square) MUST define a PERFECT CENTER.
• From that CENTER we draw a CIRCLE of 65.0 mm Radius )130.0 mm Diameter.
• This Circle INTERSECTION with ALL LINES will set the CENTER of each Hole we need to make (for future structural supporting bolts-nuts)

And basically this is it...

NOW, on the event that our Plates were NOT cut exactly at Six (6) Inches, then we need to mark the differences and calculate its center.
We could calculate based on 5.5 Inches (5 1/2) and set center from there.
Then resume all other angles calculations based on that center.

Ok, so once I have ALL EIGHT Holes marked, those would be my GUIDE to bolt each Plate to a "sacrifice" piece of wood, such wood would be a bit larger than six (6) inches.

This eight bolts will support our plates and will not allow to come off, or turn, once we finally cut them.

It actually does not need ALL Eight Bolts, but only Four (4) , set at 90 degrees each, would be enough to hold plates.

I am planning to cut these Plates ONE BY ONE, carefully and SLOWLY...(so, not stocking them on pairs or else).

I have to make sure the Hole Saw is rotating EVENLY, CENTERED by spinning it BY HAND FIRST, before I turn on the Motor...
