@lfarrand,

That's great that you two are already getting these components going.

Alex, (Kampen) is a long time friend of mine, and I know he will make it right and an excellent job.

I got one question related to the DC/DC Converters, each BPS needs one DC/DC Conv.?
Or One Converter can feed the Gates of Two BPS, since we are driving -for the Figuera Linear setup- Two BPS which are driven by same -common- gates?

These Murata DC/DC Conv have just one Input and One Output?...I see Four terminals for HV and Four for LV

On just the black box (without the PCB), is available at DigiKey (Image below) however, I only see Five (5) connectors...so, are there any other components not seen on this image?
Or is it just the wiring on board that divides into common terminals for both (HV & LV)

Thanks

Answer: One DC-DC module per BPS leg
Not per coil — per bidirectional switching element.

So we need two DC-DC converters per coil.

Thanks @kampen!

My bad, somehow I thought that DC-DC Converters were driving the voltage Gate...yeah, a "blackout!
But I see they are just supplying power to each BPS.

So, the Gates -in our design- would be driven directly from the same Logic Board we have, to each BPS Gate,Of course with the interconnector you've explained through email, because these BPR needs a floating gate driver.

Hey, but that's great, since you would not need to build a new Logic board from scratch!

Thks

You're right - there are more pins on the adapter board (4x each leg = 8x total) than there are on the isolated DC/DC converter. Not all of the pins on the adapter board are in use, and there are multiple pins connected to the same net in some cases. The following diagram should make it clearer.

Here's a more detailed look at how the isolated DC/DC converter, gate driver IC and MOSFET are wired up.
