Ok, so I had this Graphic on my mind and I wanted to make it reality...as it shows a more clear approach to this Linear Arrangement I am making on my end.

I name it "COILS AND GROUPS" and it stablishes a different view of the whole way these Coils and Groups are put together and connected between them, to configure what is known as a 'CIRCUIT'.

So, ALL Group Bracket Lines connect to the Negative and Positive Brushes of Rotary Switch...however, here I just have made it continuos bracket line to show Groups Connections.
On the Left side we have ALL Negative black numbered Terminals (from -1 to [-8]) as on Right Side I have ALL Positive Terminals from +1 to +8 in red.

I specified that "OVERLAPPING" here is meant ONLY for the way Groups are connected and powered, NOT by ' physically overlapped" they are just adjacent, or next to each other's.

What we can not see in simple sight, is that as we power from Group #1 to Group #8 we are displacing the Magnetic Field by only replacing ONE COIL on a Single Transition from one group to the next following group.

Replacing One Coil: meaning we are turning OFF one Coil on the Left as Entering another one at Right whenever moving from one Group to the next on G1 to G8 displacement (Left to Right move)
The opposite takes place when we return (back from G8 to G1)...

As an Example: When we are transitioning from Group 1 to Group 2, Single Coil #1 gets disconnected (OFF)  as Single Coil #9 turns ON.
As by having an overlap transition at brushes contacts, the power never goes completely off, and that keeps ALWAYS Six (6) Single Coils -at Group Center- ALWAYS ON.
These conditions prevents for the Main Field to ever collapse during its transitioning between groups.
