Dear friend Ufopolitics, 

Based on everything I have collected so far, tomorrow I will make the next rendering focus on accuracy rather than presentation.

The next version should incorporate the corrections I have identified from Ufopolitics' Maya video-clip animation:

• Stationary 32-segment commutator rings.
• Rotating inside-out brush assemblies.
• Positive and negative brushes exactly 180° apart.
• Smaller, more realistic brush holders.
• Perpendicular spring brush mechanism.
• Correct red positive and blue negative slip rings.
• More compact terminal/output connections.
• Thinner commutator rings with larger diameters.
• Accurate fiberglass rotor discs.
• Correct shaft holder (Part #1) and slip-ring carrier (Part #2).
• Transparent sectional cutaway showing the complete current path.
• Fully exploded assembly view.
• White engineering background.

I would also like to add three new views:

• Transparent Cross-Section
  
  • Shows slip ring → rotating brush → stationary commutator segment → external output terminal.
• Top View Quadrant Diagram
  
  • Shows the four quadrants and the 180° brush relationship that Ufopolitics described.
• Rotor-Only Engineering View
  
  • Isolates the moving assembly without the stationary commutators.

After reviewing the video three times, I am much more confident that we now understand the actual architecture. 
The remaining work is refining proportions and component details until the rendering closely matches the Maya model.

Tomorrow, I can produce what will likely be the most accurate engineering rendering yet of the Bipolar Commutator Driver.

Those rendered images are AWESOME!!

Very realistic!

Now, since I designed this Linear Commutator Driver on 32 Elements Commutators, I thought about makinG an Annular (Ring) Circuit Board to be bolted on the Commutator Bolts.

This Board would have built in ALL the connections (wiring) between all 32 Elements within, in order that we just get out the FINAL Eight Connectors from each commutator.

And now, since I have been working on this 3D CAD Model, I decided to make it's Design a reality...(on 3D CAD)

Now, in order to have ALL Connections between ALL 32 Points, the Board would have TWO Circuits:

• One Circuit on one side of the Board (Upper)
• And a Second Circuit on the other side (Lower)
• After the Lower Circuit is Printed, then another Layer of just Board could be added (TWO LAYER BOARD)
• Then use some vertical connectors (small rod bars) that connect the Upper Circuit with the Lower one INTERNALLY.

Therefore, I rendered this Board with different Transparencies on the board Material, so the inner Copper circuit connectors can be seen...

Then below is just the FULL CIRCUIT without the Board Material...



Making this Board a reality, will save a lot of time on the wiring of ALL 64 TOTAL CONNECTORS, reduce wire, plus, most importantly:

• This Two Boards for each Commutator, will serve to ALIGN THE BOARDS therefore, there will not be any chance of ERRORS.
• The Quadrants and Rotation Sense will be printed on Board.
• As specifying the Two Boards as the Positive and the Negative.
• ALL Numbered Sequence on Output [1 to 8]
• Plus ALL Numbers on each Connector to Commutator Bolts.

I will make a type of "Hand Made Board", for my prototype, using 16 gauge enameled wire on a Blank board cut with the Ring Shape.

And just to serve us as a 'reminder' what the original Circuit that I posted here a while back...looked like:

And please note the amount of CROSSED LINES HERE !! (Not showing connected because do not have the Black Dots)....and that way it CAN NOT be taken on a SINGLE Flat Surface of a Circuit Board...

It needs to use -at least TWO LAYERS, like I did.

Oh!, and the Four Quadrants plus the Two Brushes at 180 degrees are also here.

Hello Ufopolitics and All,

After carefully studying the latest MAYA CAD developments, screenshots, and animation clip recently shared by Ufopolitics, I spent some time updating the engineering renderings to better reflect the actual architecture of the Bipolar Commutator Driver.

One of the biggest lessons learned from the latest MAYA model is that this system should not be interpreted as a conventional motor commutator. 

The latest CAD work confirms that the design is fundamentally a reversed commutation architecture where:
• The commutators are completely STATIONARY and mounted on the stator side.
 • The commutator brushes rotate with the rotor assembly.
 • The brushes sweep from the INSIDE DIAMETER outward.
 • The positive and negative slip rings rotate with the shaft.
 • All output wiring remains fixed on the stator side.
 • Positive and negative brush systems are separated by 180 degrees according to the quadrant sequencing method.

Based on these latest developments, I generated a new set of engineering renderings which now incorporate:

  • Shows the complete current path:
     Fixed Input Brush → Slip Ring → Rotating Brush Carrier → Rotating Brush → Stationary Commutator Segment → External Output Terminal → Sequential Coil.
• Top View Quadrant Diagram
  
  • Displays the four-quadrant sequence arrangement.
  • Shows the exact 180° relationship between the positive and negative brush systems.
  • Illustrates the ascending and reversing sequence transitions described by Ufopolitics.
• Rotor-Only Engineering View
  
  • Isolates the moving assembly.
  • Shows the shaft, bearings, fiberglass discs, slip rings, and rotating brush carriers without the stationary commutators.
  • Helps visualize balancing and assembly of the rotor structure.

Several corrections were also made based directly on the MAYA model presentation:

• Negative slip ring corrected to BLUE.
 • Positive slip ring retained as RED.
 • Smaller and more realistic brush assemblies.
 • More compact output terminal arrangement.
 • Improved exploded assembly structure.
 • Elimination of conventional motor-style commutator assumptions.


One interesting observation from reviewing the MAYA animation is that the machine behaves much more like a rotary electrical distributor than a traditional motor commutator. 
The stationary segmented rings and rotating brush carriers create a unique architecture that allows all 32 outputs from each commutator to remain externally accessible while the rotor performs the sequencing function.

I would like to thank Ufopolitics for continuing to refine and explain the design. 

The latest MAYA work has greatly improved the understanding of the mechanical and electrical operation of the Bipolar Commutator Driver and has allowed the renderings to move much closer to the actual intended architecture.

As additional dimensions and component details become available, future renderings can be refined even further toward a true engineering-grade CAD representation.
