Yesterday I went to purchase ALL Brass Bolts and Nuts and washers I need for my Commutator Assembly...and only these fasteners and a small brass plate for the brushes housings...was $80.00 USD

Some had to be ordered, because not in stock.

UFO POLITICS and other members: It has been many months since I have last posted but I take this time and opportunity to do so now.

I was one of the first builders here to have a working 32 contact commutator that turned 1800 rpm with a double contact brush 180 degrees apposed. Without a working commutator NO MEANINGFUL EXPERIMENTATION can be done on this build.  

I am STILL winding coils and and experimenting with different configurations and core designs. ALTHOUGH I don't have a great deal of sofisticated test equipment, I have continued to design and build prototypes. 

 I have CHOSEN NOT to replicate the design that UFO has so diligently worked on and shared here as I find it to be too far removed from Figuera's original design. It is a VERY GOOD DESIGN and well thought out, but it is NOT the direction I have chosen.

Yes, you are correct, you have shown a 32 elements commutator here...and you also had two brushes at 180 degrees apart...BOTH Positive though.

Since your beginning here, you have always tried to deviate in full opposition to whatever build design I have presented here, like the opposite wound coils on the sequential row that you decided to make...as many other shapes and forms, which were completely away from what I was trying to get backed up on, and replicated identically.

However, at this point it is great to know that you have decided (in total silence up to now) NOT TO FOLLOW MY NEW LINEAR-SERIES DESIGN on this Topic.

The ONLY THING different on this design -from Figuera original- is that I have the two electrical polarities, positive and negative moving at unison, controlled by two aligned brushes on separated paths (-/+).
Now, after making hundreds of original Figuera's reproductions where ALL were unsuccessful...only then I have learned that his original method, of basically EXPANDING AND RETRACTING the Fields ON THE SAME, EXACT PLACE (SPACE), does NOT worked as expected...only then I decided to move the Field(s) INTACT (without variation of ANY Parameters that originate it, like R, V & A) in SPACETIME.

From Figuera's original design, we only have a LOUSY DRAWN IMAGE on his 1908 Patent, where only a Positive brush is rotating...BUT, NO ONE have EVER been able to see the actual Commutating Driver that he had sent to be built in Germany...So, we never knew what his final design looked like.

I am very optimistic with my new design, where the Field stays with the same STRENGTH, during its movement through Spacetime...exactly the same way that takes place on ANY REAL Generator out there...except, that I am NOT moving ALL the massive Steel Cores plus ALL Massive Copper Windings that generate such Field...therefore, I do NOT require a Massive, Herculean ICE Engine to rotate it...

Only the future real testings will tell, if I am right or wrong.

But, thanks for telling here you are not building this setup...now I got to know I am not counting with your replication.
