I really appreciate how clearly you have laid it out.

I agree with your conclusion: there was nothing wrong with the PCB logic board or the FET boards themselves. 
No gate leakage, no drain-source leakage the drivers were operating exactly as designed.

The key point, as we have now identified, was the **conceptual difference in how the coils were intended to be driven**.

The drivers were designed for **independent pulsing of individual coils (or independent groups)**, which also explains the large voltage spikes observed when collapsing a single energized coil, even at low input Voltage.

Your explanation makes it clear that what we need hete is a **progressive, sliding excitation across a series chain**, where only one coil exits the group while the next enters keeping most of the group alive at all times and avoiding full group collapse.
This is a fundamentally different operating concept, NOT a fault in the hardware.

I am glad that this is now fully understood on both sides.

It is definitely a step forward, and it removes any remaining doubts about where the mismatch was.

Everyone worked correctly based on their understanding now we simply have a more precise definition of the required behavior.

Having that visual comparison will help align everyone on the exact topology and will be very useful for deciding the next steps, whether mechanical, Solid-State, or hybrid.

Thank you for uploading the diagram this makes the distinction perfectly clear now.

The **top diagram (Kampen connection design)** shows exactly what the drivers were built for: **independent pulsing**, where each output channel is electrically isolated and fully collapses when it turns off.
In that configuration, it is expected to see large Voltage spikes when even a single element is switched, because there is no continuity of the energized group.

Your **lower diagram** clearly shows the behavior you actually need: a **sliding, series-connected excitation**, where only **one element exits the group while the next enters**, and the majority of the chain remains energized at all times.

That difference explains everything we observed earlier the uneven power distribution, the bulb tests, and the apparent contradictions between V1 and V2.

So yes, this diagram confirms that:

* the logic board was correct for its intended purpose,
* the FET boards were operating correctly,
* and the issue was entirely a **topology and interpretation mismatch**, not a hardware or leakage problem.

This visual comparison really settles the matter and gives everyone a common reference point going forward.

From here, the question is no longer *whether* the existing drivers work, but **whether this specific series "one-out / one-in" behavior can be implemented cleanly in solid-state**, or whether a mechanical commutator is the more natural first reference.

This is a very good clarification and this is an important step forward.

Can anyone explain how the output is wired ? I can see the virtual magnet moving back and forth but, where this virtual magnet produce any effect as long as it is moving along in this linear setup.

I really struggle to understand what is the desired outcome and how it can be realistic achieved

MY NEXT DUAL BIPOLAR ROTARY SWITCH COMMUTATOR:

Ok, so on above Diagram are only shown the TWO DUAL POLARITY BRUSHES (NOT the TWO CONSTANT SLIP RINGS that carry CONSTANT POWER to EACH Polarity Brush)

ALL FOUR BRUSHES (TWO +/-  CONTINUOS SLIP PLUS DUAL COMMUTATING POLARITY +/- ) ARE RUNNING FIXED ON THE SAME SHAFT.

THE TWO DUAL POLARITY COMMUTATING BRUSHES ARE SYNC TO BE BOTH AT THE SAME EXACT CONTACT (like shown they are on Contact 1 on Image above)

If you noticed, I have a Green Dotted Horizontal Line on Both Commutators...That represents the 'Equatorial Division' between BOTH Hemispheres (Upper & Lower)

So, if you realize that BOTH Hemispheres are MIRRORED through JUMPERS ACROSS EACH TERMINAL (shown INSIDE of each Commutator Ring)

Exactly like Figuera designed these Jumpers on Commutator back on 1908...except, that He only examples it - on his Patent simple Diagram- with One Positive Brush.

These Jumpers do the REPEAT or RETURN OPERATION, in this case from 1 to 8 and back from 8 to 1.

If You notice, 8 & 1 Contacts are ALSO repeated TWICE to equalize or compensate the timings duration of the rest of contacts that are also repeated twice.

This is a very simple operation, Positive and Negative Brushes FIRES INPUT POWER (from Constant Slip Ring Brushes) at UNISON to each Contact.

On image the TWO Brushes are at Contact #1, (Neg and Pos) this will power Group #1.

Following the Rotation Sense (CW) when the TWO Brushes Fire Contact #2, it will turn ON FULLY Group #2...and so on until it reaches Contact #8, Group #8.

THEN IT WILL START the RETURN from Group #8 back to Group #1 (G1)...or running from G8, G7, G6, G5, G4, G3, G2, G1 thanks to the Jumpers.

This switch does not consumes ANY POWER to OPERATE...except for a very small DC Brushed Motor that will be just rotating the shaft at the required speed (3000 to 3600 RPM's)...maybe with just 12V.

The Rotary Switch I will be building ALL Brushes run INSIDE FOUR Copper Rings Cylinders:

1- Two continuos Copper Rings Cylinders for the slip rings brushes to ride on, carrying the DC Power to each Polarity Brush.

2- And the other Two Copper Rings will be divided in 16 Segments. One for each Positive and Negative Brushes.

The Type shown on this Diagram is Not based on Inner Brushes but Vertical ones, like I had before when running just one Positive Brush.

It was done like that -with Vertical Brushes, Perpendicular to Commutator Plane- just for easier understanding of the switching function.

But the Inner Brushes running towards an external cylinder will never miss a contact by separation to commutator walls, because Rotational Centrifugal Forces will be forcing brushes towards the commutator contacts.

I hope this Diagram and Method of Switching, plus seeing it operating in Real time, will be helping on designing and developing a Robust Electronic Driver in the future...
